Dr. Thompson born in St. Louis, Missouri resided in Ferguson for 18 years. Upon graduation from McCluer High School he was accepted to the University of Missouri at Kansas City Six Year Medical school. This was followed by 6 years of residency training and a Chief Residency position at the University of Louisville Urology program. In 1988 he took a position with Urology Associates of Cape Girardeau in Missouri where he practiced for twenty years. During his time there he served as head of the credential committee, Chief of Surgery and finally Chief of Staff of Southeast Missouri Hospital. During that time he practiced as a board certified urologist and a Fellow of the College of Surgeons.
In his forties, Dr. Thompson developed some disturbing changes in his health and elected to go through an Age Management program that literally changed his life both physically and professionally. After experiencing the health changes he realized the need to extend this type of medicine to others. He completed a training program and was awarded a certificate in Age Management Medicine. He has practiced in this field for the last 10 years and has become a leader in the field. He has written a chapter in a text book, lectured across the country and had multiple appearances on national news shows as an expert in the field of Age Management.
Dr. Thompson now practices and owns The Thompson Clinic in Fort Worth, Texas where he will continues to offer his patients guidance in the field of healthy aging.
